A few days ago, The Huffington Post had an article about Facebook that made me angry. You can read it thru the link but the gist of it is that Facebook was going to sell our private information (phone number, email, etc) to third parties. The way I understood it is much to the same degree of telemarketers, companies would be able to solicit their product through facebook to us. Eh. Say WHAT?! However, facebook had this to say in their defense:
"Despite some rumors, there's no way for other websites to access a user's address or phone number from Facebook. For people that may find this option useful in the future, we're considering ways to let them share this information (for example to use an online shopping site without always having to re-type their address). People will always be in control of what Facebook information they share with apps and websites."
